Mission Statement
-
To help restore dignity and sense of purpose to all
marginalised people in our town.
-
To offer positive support, and friendship.
-
To actively address the judgmental attitudes of our
society.
-
To improve our own attitudes towards others.
-
To encourage clients to take constructive steps leading to
recovery from illness and/or addiction and to assist in maintaining healthy,
dependence-free life styles.
-
To provide clients and staff with appropriate information
and training.
-
To
build strong
partnerships and working relationships with other relevant agencies.
-
To remain firmly established in our Christian foundation.
Spiritual development has and will be actively encouraged and nourished by
participation in a community in which Christian principles will be upheld and
pastoral counselling made available. It is not expected, however, that clients
will have a Christian faith.
We
welcome people of all faiths. ALL visitors /guests / clients are made welcome -
regardless of race, gender, ethnic origin, religion, sexual orientation or
physical /mental capability.
